History Comes to Life on Main Street

Downtown Nevada has always been a place where our history and our community meet—and now, you can see that history come alive right in the windows at 127 N Main Street.

Thanks to an amazing partnership between the Bushwhacker Museum, Nevada Middle School History Club, Chair Mart, and 3M, historic window decals have been installed to showcase the stories that make our community unique.

A True Community Effort

This project began with a vision: to bring more history into our downtown district in a way that everyone could enjoy, every day. The Bushwhacker Museum provided the images and context, while the Nevada Middle School History Club added their excitement and energy for preserving our past. Chair Mart stepped up with support to help make the project possible, and 3M went above and beyond—donating not only the material but also their time and expertise in hanging the decals.
