Façade Improvement Grant Program

The Nevada MO Main Street Alliance Façade Improvement Grant Program helps property and business owners improve the appearance of buildings in the Main Street district.

This program supports exterior improvements that strengthen downtown Nevada, preserve historic character, and create a more vibrant business district.

Grants are intended to assist with projects that improve the visual appearance, functionality, and long-term success of downtown properties

Grant Overview

• Reimbursement of up to 50% of total project costs
• Maximum grant award: $5,000
• Open to property owners and tenants (with owner approval)
• Building must be located within the Nevada MO Main Street district boundary

Examples of Eligible Improvements

• Exterior painting and trim
• Storefront restoration
• Business signage
• Awnings or canopies
• Accent lighting
• Masonry cleaning or repair
• Window graphics
• Energy-efficient windows and storefront improvements
