Building on Two Years of Partnership & Progress
For the second year in a row, the Nevada Main Street Alliance had the opportunity to present its annual budget request during the City Council Strategic Meeting this morning, alongside Economic Development, the Chamber of Commerce, the Police Department, Parks & Recreation, and other community and city partners.
The continued support we receive from the City helps make it possible for Main Street to focus on the restoration and revitalization of our downtown district, promotion of our downtown businesses, and the overall operating costs of the Nevada Main Street Alliance.
This support also allows us to continue projects and programs that are making a visible difference throughout downtown, including our Façade Improvement Grant Program, downtown flower pot project, restoration of the historic caboose, and events and activities in the downtown district.
The Nevada Main Street Alliance is a 100% volunteer team. From maintaining and improving downtown spaces to promoting our businesses, organizing projects and events, and working behind the scenes to keep the organization operating, our volunteers are committed to seeing downtown Nevada continue to grow and improve.
We sincerely thank the City of Nevada for its support over the past two years and for continuing to recognize the importance of investing in our downtown district. That partnership has helped us accomplish projects that directly impact the appearance, vitality, and future of downtown Nevada.
We look forward to continuing our work together to restore, revitalize, and promote downtown Nevada and build on the momentum we've created over the last two years.
