Partnering for Progress: Nevada Main Street Chats with Mayor Carol Branham
This morning, Nevada Main Street had the opportunity to chat with Mayor Carol Branham for a meaningful conversation about the future of our community and how we can work together to make it brighter, more vibrant, and more connected.
The discussion centered around shared goals—revitalizing downtown, supporting small businesses, building community pride, and creating spaces where everyone feels welcome. Mayor Branham expressed strong support for Main Street’s initiatives and emphasized the importance of collaboration between city leadership and local organizations.
We talked about current projects and dreams for the future, including placemaking efforts, building preservation, community events, and long-term planning for economic development. With both the city and Main Street on the same page, there’s a lot of potential to make lasting, visible progress.
Want to be part of the conversation? One great way to get involved is by attending Coffee with the Mayor, held on the 4th Thursday of each month at Precision Coffee, 200 W Walnut, starting at 8:00 a.m. It’s an open invitation to share your thoughts, ask questions, and hear firsthand what’s happening in Nevada.
